NaNoWriMo – Day Seventeen

Today was a weird day. I had a hard time concentrating on writing, but definitely managed to squeeze out my goal for the day.

Writing was filled with tons of spelling mistakes. It was absolutely bizarre. I also have no “picture of inspiration.” Maybe the two are connected?!

NaNoWriMo – Day Sixteen

These days just seem to be flying by. I can’t believe I only have fourteen more days left of this. I KNOW I’m not even close to being finished at around 50,000 words. Gadzooks.

I may need to start up another one of these NaNoWriMo things again! Yeesh!

Today’s picture is inspired from Joss Whedon’s awesome run on Astonishing X-Men, and drawn by John Cassady.

NaNoWriMo – Day 13-15

I was out of town for the past few days because of work so I didn’t write. Shame on me. However, I was off from work today, so I made up for the lost time!

My goal was to write around 1,500 words every day. So I did that x3 today.

Yeah, I broke the 30k word mark! I win at life! As for my picture of inspiration today, I was really concerned about not having the energy to write. I needed humour. Thank goodness for MST3K.

I’m back on track!

NaNoWriMo – Day Twelve

I am so excited to be writing this story.

The most interesting thing about this story so far is that I’ve realized I’m still doing the introduction to a lot of the characters. Yes, I’m near 28,000 words in and I’m still setting up. That means this story is going to be massive.

On the other hand, my editors will hate me.

My inspirational picture today is a screen shot from Blade Runner. It’s funny how certain pictures or images pop into your head when writing. The city scenes were what carried me through writing today.
