Here is day eleven!

I’m damn-proud with how much I’ve accomplished thus far. I can’t believe what a little bit of determination can get you – or in this case – me.

26,000 words! Yowza! It hasn’t even been two weeks yet!

Today’s picture – I can’t explain it. I just had a need for water imagery. I wasn’t writing anything about water, but I felt really moved by it. In result, here is today’s picture of inspiration.

Only twenty more days to go!

I got a lot done today. I busted out my laptop and it felt pretty darn good as compared to writing on my desktop. I’m hoping to have 30k done by day fourteen (Tuesday), so we’ll see how it goes!

I do have to go to Toronto on Monday and Tuesday for work, so I’m unsure how much in word count I’ll get in order to boost me to 30k. But I still have two more days to really boost that number. Let’s attempt 30k for Sunday.

Yeah, I don’t know.

I went to work, came home for an hour to pack up and almost fell asleep. Then I gigged a gig. Then I came home and wrote. I’m ready for bed!

But the good news is that I have all of my mini-plot points written out, so writing comes REALLY easy. The only reason why I stopped when I did is because I can’t keep my gosh-darn eyes open anymore.

Day eight is here! I didn’t get really far though.

Reason being is that my computer desk is NOT made for sitting and typing for hours on end. The end result is really sore wrists. They’re pretty darn red now. Because of working on the website at work, I spend all day on the computer there, then I come home and write for a few more hours. It’s not helpin’ ze hands!

I need to get my laptop from work tomorrow and start writing on there. Tomorrow I think will be another poor-writing night, depending on how late my bands’ gig is. Hopefully I’ll crack 1000 words.

This is the first time since I started NaNoWriMo where I’ve written UNDER 1000 words. I’m not too concerned though. My wrists need a break!
