NaNoWriMo – Day Five

And on the fifth day, I created more words.

I had a bit of a hurdle getting started with writing today, but I’m glad I achieved my writing goal. I was literally struggling for hours on it. It definitely had something to do with the music I was listening to.

The scene I was writing today was definitely a sad, emotional one. After struggling to get a feel for writing the scene, I turned on Paatos’ “Silence of Another Kind” album, and used the following image for inspiration:

NaNoWriMo – Day Four

Today was almost as crazy as yesterday. After work, I had errands to run. When I got in, I fell right asleep. I’m terrible.

Methinks by Wednesday I’ll be at or over 20,000 words. I’m flyin’!

NaNoWriMo – Day Three

Today turned out to be crazy busy. I got a call for the band to play a gig tonight. Since we don’t turn down money too often, we’re playing it.

However, that really threw a wrench in the gears for writing today. But I refuse to give myself a day off. I gave myself one hour to eat dinner and write. Turns out I can get a ton accomplished in one hour.

I have no picture for inspiration because I just hammered out what I could. But I did listen to some thrash metal to help speed the writing process up. I think I was typing at about 200bpm.

NaNoWriMo – Day Two

Given I want to do 1,500 words a day, I’m really kicking butt.

Words before: 9,632

Words today: 3,406

Total word count: 13,038

I’m just flying through this. Admittedly, I have had two days off, so I’m sure the next little bit my word count will be around the 1,500 range. But we’ll see!

And no. No one dies. This is a mood-setting picture.
