Thirty Day Challenge – Day Eleven – The Fiddler’s Shindig

I had a pretty broken sleep so I was up early enough to decide that I had time to write.

I’ve ended another scene and am working on another! I’m a bit nervous about this one, solely because I know it’s going to take a while for me to plow through it. While it’s not anything ground-breaking or difficult plot-wise, it’s the characterization and history of my characters that will really have to be a focus.

I don’t think it will be too difficult to work on. Just time-consuming. It’s going to be a lot of talk between three characters, and the dialogue has to bring up their past together. I have to get this right, for technically, this conversation explains why the characters are the way they are up until this point in the book.

It’s going to be one helluva ride! (That’s true, too. They’re in the ships cockpit, flying through space in this conversation.)

The Fiddler's Shindig

I haven’t listened to Mostly Autumn in forever. I have a few of their albums, but I really enjoyed their live performances. “The Fiddler’s Shindig” is just that. With a handful of awesome songs, it’s a relaxing way to start the morning and to write along with.

Until tomorrow, folks!
